Prime Rib Roast

Ingredients

  • 8lb Shingle Creek Cattle Prime Rib Roast
  • 2 packets of dry Au Jus gravy

Directions

  1. Trim up roast and fat cap
  2. Coat Prime Rib with dry AuJus packets
  3. Preheat smoker to 200 degrees
  4. Place roast on smoker fat side up. Cook until internal temp of 125⁰F- 130⁰F for rare or 135⁰F for medium-rare. Approx. 3.5 hours
  5. Take off heat and transfer to foil and let sit for 30min
  6. Cut to desired thickness against the grain, Enjoy!
